FredG
I've just finished replacing glass in the middle greenhouse. One of next door's children decided that greenhouse looked a good home for some rather large pebbles. So she duly threw them in from over a 7ft hedge and missed the door which is remarkable as it's at the other side to her position. Anyway I took the opportunity to replace some old cracked panes and now I have the problem of thinking I can reach into the greenhouse through these new "gaps". I think my most frequent comment of the day is " darn it's humid". 96% and sun Edit: Did I mention the blood loss? Daniel G
Whilst replacing some glass in mine I added a new, and remarkably clean, pane. Shortly after adding it I put my hand through it to clip in another pane. One more cut and one less pane... The moral of the story is either "Use polycarbonate" or "Don't try to reach through glass"

S Krelbourn
Snap CephFan, my son threw a large stick for His dog today and it just bounced off the polycarbonate in the greenhouse, we laughed- I wouldn't have found it so funny if I'd got glass in it. I'm not sure about polycarbonate's light transmission, but it seems thankfully strong. Phil
