Nice collection Oliver, you have some pretty nice plants there :good2:

I think your first "n.?" could be ventricosa x talangensis, it's the spitting image of mine.

Ha, I'm not very good at this, it takes ages because, I never seem to get it to work and I always make them and then they fail, I really need a good hour do do them in, maybe this weekend. :)

Lovely greenhouse. You can also include pics of your orchids whilst you are at it !

Couldn't help noticing the vanda and you have some cattleyas / laelias?

Spot on, I made the post in the car and I forgot what it was. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I hope you weren't driving at the time ! :laugh1:

That's a nice looking pitcher, i like the colouration. I think i have a dud, as it started vining like mad (currently 14 inches high and internodes of about 2 inch) but it refuses to pitcher for me and i dunno why. I've seriously wondered whether i was sent just plain dubia by mistake and hence my conditions are too warm for it. My other ultrahighlanders like diatas, densiflora, and mikei  wouldn't pitcher either. The latter two actually died earlier this year :(

Nice collection. Don't think I'd want your winter heating bill though

Just amazing, congratulations!

I do have some orchids, not many now, since I moved about 7 yrs ago, no longer have the right conditions for them and many died. I do have one bulbophyllum rothschildianum, but after 9 yrs never flowered and not looking good, think may loose it this yr with the current heat wave. My problem is lack of humidity

Do have an oncidium like yours and many others, also dendrobiums, cattleyas and laelias. Those do well over here.

Whilst in the UK, most of my orchids came from burnham nurseries, but now with postage is very expensive.

Yes, mine actually took ages to pitcher too, but now is doing well. What are your temps? Do you plant all of your plants in the large baskets? Maybes the ultra highlanders don't like it?

I also grow all of my ultra highlanders away from the stream of heat from the heater and right at the back by the glass.

If it wasn't for bubble wrap, I would be in big debt. :) I bubble wrap my greenhouse all year now.

Looking good, also nice seeing one of my favorite orchids, B. grandiflorum.

Regards,
