Thanks Lucas but really i just accidentally had conditions that veitcheiis seem to like. Actually they must be really fast growers in the wild because my plants are pretty well dormant for 6 or 7 months of the year.

Temperatures are 12C in winter and anything up to 40C in summer, depending on weather, the vietcheiis dont really grow until the temperature is regularly up to around 30C.

Christer, it is supposedly a bario form, as are all my current veitcheiis, i know ths form isnt meant to climb. One leaf and pitcher have wrapped around the trunk whereas another has curved in the right direction but not got tight to the trunk. The next few leaves should give us an answer now the stem is getting properly vertical.
