North West Neps
I've been advised to move my photos out of my growlist thread and into the correct section of the forum, as not many people check growlist threads and so other nepenthes enthusiasts may then be missing my shots. Point taken, but you're not missing much yet as all my plants are still small. So here goes, you will be able to track the progress of my plants in this thread...

North West Neps
Cheers chaps ! I think the amount of comments already proves that not many people were seeing them while they were hidden away in my growlist thread, so thanks for the support. For those who may be interested, my camera is a mid range Nikon D3000 with a stock 18-55mm lens. I've never had colour reproduction as good as this with any of my previous cameras, so i'm happy. Unfortunately though at the moment i'm really struggling to focus on the entire pitcher as my plants are so small and with this lens everything is more or less shot at f4. I'm not a photographer by any means and i just shoot in full auto, so any tips or advice on a decent lens to get for my D3000, please do share
carnivorousDan
Nice neps, your hard work on your greenhouse is paying of well, really nice colours. Dan
North West Neps
Cheers Dan. We've had some pretty grim weather lately and things seem to have slowed down a bit in the greenhouse as a result. However, the sun has made an appearance this morning and we're set for a scorching few days (about bleedin' time too !). So while i'm waiting for the newest pitchers to pop, i thought i'd show you some general overview shots of the top bench 'landscape'. North West Neps
Really nice composition Welshy! Like the idea of using other plants like fern. Thanks for sharing. Believe it or not, the ferns weren't intentionally planted. I think the spores are already in the sphagnum when i buy it, so i'll leave them where they are until they get out of control. d. capensis 'alba' has also sprung up from somewhere (visible in photos 2 and 3) and seems to be doing fine considering it's not sitting in water. That happened the last time I grew in terraria. I like it, it makes it look more natural.
