wobblepip
Hi all, I was just wondering whether anyone has tried growing Pleione in a typical Mexican Pinguicula mix (e.g. equal parts peat, perlite, vermiculite, sharp sand)? Paul.

manders
Hi all, I was just wondering whether anyone has tried growing Pleione in a typical Mexican Pinguicula mix (e.g. equal parts peat, perlite, vermiculite, sharp sand)? Paul. I grow them in perlite/coir which is a bit similar, my pings are in perlite/vermiculite/peat.A few pleiones are lithophytic and grow with no compost, so i usually add lots of perlite and have to remember to fertilize! I also grow them outside in full sun (sometimes), heres tongariro in perlite/coir. Edited May 31, 2015 by manders
