Darlingtonia flowers 2015

The first of my flowers for this year which is along way in front of all the rest. This is the first ever flower from this clone. This youngster was taken from the parent plant last year after I accidentally damaged the parent's new pitchers. The parent has never flowered, this year's bud being well behind this one

It's a one of a kind . :wink:. Well I have two but you know what I mean.

That's a future candidate for cultivar status I think. The pitchers are different from the standard plants too.  :banana:

Here are flowers of my FG1983 clone. The bracts on the flower stem are a much deeper pink than any other I've flowered. ( it doesn't fully show on the photo due to the sun angle)

Hi Fred,

My mobile Darlingtonia bog is flowering too. They have survived outside for over a year now, with fowers as a result. I also have a question concerning a strange flower I encountered this year on a new Darlingtonia clone. But I will review this in a new post. I don' t want to spam yours;)
