TC Utricularia

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

can anyone tell me a good tc media for epiphytic Utrics? Nowhere in the web there are any clues. Except for aquatic species.

Gamborg B5?

WPM?

KC (original)?

MS?

Sugar concentration and pH?

Many thanks

Tobias

Hi Tobias,
I would guess that 1/5-1/3 MS with vitamines should do it, but I'm also just about to find out...

Sugar I would choose between 2-3% and pH 5.5-5.7...

That's like the standard for most CPs I guess. If you don't get any help here I would try this...

Cheers

Marc

1/3 MS, 20g sugar, 2.0ml BAP, pH 5.65

I will post the results

best regards

Tobias

This is the same as the most other genera. Drosera and Pings are easy too, but the web is full of tc protocols of It.....
