Christian
Hi, here i will start a topic showing the wide variety of Drosera cistiflora (and other similar species) in the wild. The first plants, i would like to show are some we found at Silvermine in 2009. Those plants have been medium sized (which i feel is about 20-25cm for D. cistiflora) with broad leafs in the rosette as well as in the leafs on the stem. The flower color is white, as far as i can tell (we did not find open flowers). I will update this thread with pictures from time to time :) Christian Edited May 19, 2016 by Christian

Christian
Hello, close to Franschhoek we also found some quite robust plants with quite broad leaves in both types of leaves. Unfortunately we did not see any open flower there, but the color should be pink. Next time i update this thread i will show the first flowers :) Christian Edited May 19, 2016 by Christian

Christian
Hi, here are the next pictures, this time from a location we found east of Citrusdal. There the plants have very broad rosette leaves, the flower color is from white to pink. The upper leafs are much more narrow compared to the plants in my previous posts. All plants shown here are growing within a few meters away from each other. Gruß, Christian Edited May 19, 2016 by Christian
Christian
Hi, the next pictures are from plants we found in the Area between Betty's Bay and Hermanus. There the plants are comparatively large with wide upright leaves on the stems. In contrast to some other forms we saw, many of them have more than one flower opened at the same time.
