Dear Dimitri-san,

Hajimemashite! Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu.

I thought you were a Japanese guy who lived in Belgium or Nikkei Belgian. I believe you know why.

What kind of Japanese culture do you like? Unfortunately I'm not familiar with Japanese pop culture. But, the other day, I watched an interesting video. I'm a Honda fan. Honda UNI-CUB they (OK Go and many Japanese girls) were riding on. Probably the three girls in the beginning are related to Japanese pop culture. The filming site was Chiba Prefecture in Japan.

Are you interested at the Warring States Period of Japan? Or are you interested at the end of shogunate?

If you are interested in traditional culture, I might be able to introduce some videos to you. Although unfortunately I do not enjoy any Japanese traditional culture.

Please watch the video below when you have a spare time. There are some reviews (impressions) by foreigners who live in Japan recent years. There are a few misunderstandings in the video, I think. But perhaps it's a good video for you.

Kind regards from the Far East

Hajimemashite!

I'm not japanese but I think I believe I know why you thought it. Thanks for the video, I will watch it  :)

When I say that I like japanese culture I mean don't mean their pop music :P Even if I like some old traditional music! I like the song produced by the shamisen.

Otherwise I like the way japanese people are respectfull in general in the society. And I love manga too^^

Sorry but what do you mean with the "Warring state periode of Japan?" Do you mean the sengoku jidai? If it is the sengoku jidai, yes I love that periode :) And I especially like Tokagawa Ieyasu story :) It was a great samurai and leader!

But in general I'm interrested in other periodes too like the boshin war( not easy to find info about it) or the meji era, World War 2 in Japan, etc

If you're interrested I know some books to read about their history ;) I bought them in french but you can find them in english too I think.
