Leroy
Hi All, Just after some advice on what temperature I should set my thermostat to for my refrigerated air con to kick in inside my greenhouse. I live in central Victoria (Australia) and our Summers can be quite brutal. I have installed a shade cloth and also have a misting system, but am adding the air con for added cooling. Is there a standard 'maximum temperature' for my CPs? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
billynomates666
A lot depends on what CPs you have and your set up really, could do with a little more information.. Cheers Steve
bonehead1996
My CPs (sarracenia and Vfts) survived up to 43C in my greenhouse (not intentional, shade cloth fell off!) with no damage suffered except some slower growth for a few days, but i think daytime temperatures hit 33C most days in there this summer and all my plants have thrived
