Phil Green
I picked this up yesterday in Homebase. It clearly looks to be 'a fused tooth' VFT, but does it look like 'Fused Tooth' ? I know that plant was found in a Nursery from TC material, so there are likely to still be more out there, waiting to be found. As you can see, the young growth has normal looking teeth, so it's only the more mature traps with these teeth. What do those who grow 'Fused Tooth' think? Or does it still need to be grown in full sun for a while to be sure?

FlytrapCare
There is definitely some fusing going on there. It doesn't appear to be quite as pronounced as the fusing on Fused Tooth this time of year, but if the plant was in a nursery and recently out of TC, it might not yet be in sync with the growing season. Grow it a year or two and see what you've really got!

Phil Green
Thanks. I had noticed some difference in the online pic's, but hadn't realised they might be seasonal. Mine is now divided into 4 pots (two largish adults and two small juvenile). I'll see how they are next year. Although I see a couple of other 'fused teeth' vfts are listed on bobs photofinder, so may even be one of them or a totally new clone? Time may tell. I'll try to remember to update on this next year.
