Phil the tyke
Will it be safe to leave my very small seedlings in an unheated greenhouse over winter, or should I bring them into a warmer environment? Phil
SoLongFairWell
Definitely NOT a warmer environment. Leave them in the greenhouse so they can have their natural dormancy. Think about it, in the wild the mother plants don't cover their babies with electric blankets. They encounter the same conditions as the parents.
ada
Phil, my kids have grown them from seed to flowering and done it again, all in the greenhouse. Sheffield is just as cold as barnsley. ada
Carni
Best results here are with random fell seeds that stay in cold, than with prepared sowing that stay inside ;)
