Looking for accommodation for a fairly large group..

Recommended Posts

Hi gang, end of September my parents, relatives in Croydon, and I will travel to Scotland, the main destination being Skye. We'll be a group of 8 people, 7 adults and one teenager. How risky do you think it is just walking up to the guesthouses/B&B/self-caterings and asking if they have space for 8 people? Are there many accommodation-options on Skye? Cheers.  :)

I've been to Skye that time of year armed with just a B&B book and phoned on each afternoon to get accom, it is off peak season so should not be too bad, but 8 people will be pushing it...the B&Bs are generally small

If you have specific dates you may be better renting a self catering cottage for a week or long weekend, better value too.

What???you manage to come all the way from Switzerland to Scotland and go right past all the lovely collections of CP,s.

You should have landed in corwall and zig zagged your way up Britain to reallytake in all the sights.

Big lols.

You know when you are too late to bed when you start missing your spacebar.

I don't think any retro fit propulsion to something shaped like a house brick will fare well against a high tech pointy thing with two wheels and an engine that wasn't developed for a tractor.

But I would still happily give it a go and I could always flatten him :)

gosh I know!! Last year I went to visit Aidan's nursery, can you believe it, it was the first and only CP-nursery I have ever visited. Gosh, you are all sooo lucky over there...

Spacebar! sounds like an inter galactic pub.
