pintius
Hi all, new here but I've kept allsorts of CP's for a loooong time. My passion is for Cephs and Neps but love them all if I'm honest. Finding enough low nutrient water during summer has never been an issue as I had a friend who used it for his marine aquariums. Sadly he moved home and It's just too far to regularly .. Anyone any solutions? Mitchell Edited April 16, 2014 by pintius
SoLongFairWell
Buy a reverse osmosis unit or get a water butt or two.

CephFan
Hi Mitchell, Have a look on Yell.com and search for aquarium shops nearby. Give them a call and ask if they sell R.O. water. Although I collect my rain water in four water butts I have a backup at our local place. They ask (from memory) £9 for a drum which may be ~50L and then £2 per fill up afterwards. Even if it takes one or two refills a week that is pretty cheap. I don't know how much a R.O. unit costs. billynomates666
A rain water pipe diverter and a series of water butts is a good investment if you have the cash (and the space). Cheers Steve
