SoLongFairWell
Does anyone here have the Aldrovanda monograph published by Redfern? I was wondering what it was like, is the cultivation information good etc.? Or is it more of a science and conservation book?
Marcel van den Broek
It is a very good book that has a very good scientific content, good habitat info including a text on all known countries where the plants grow (naturally or introduced) good cultivation section too. Actually, it is all in one.
Tritone
I quote Marcel, if you like (or love) Aldrovanda you have to buy that monography! Is like the bible for Aldrovanda.

SoLongFairWell
Since my original posting I have bought a copy. It's very good. However my Aldrovanda colony is looking very grim, perhaps dead. Full of algae and dead sedge leaves. I should have performed an annual replacement tub over the winter but didn't get around to it.
