Gaz
When I got my little A. sikokianium tuber back in February I never imagined it would flower this season but here it is now, and just 20cm tall... thanks for looking.
mobile
Beautiful. Does it smell?
Gaz
thanks Carl, no it doesn't, not as far as I can tell anyway, perhaps because it is so small. However I also have a Dracunculus vulgaris which is about to flower any time, I understand that might be a different matter...and it's in the greenhouse! mobile
Dracunculus vulgaris smells of rotten fish. Perhaps a smell I would tolerate as I live in a fishing port town
FredG
This is one Arisaema I've struggled to keep alive. I'm trying it again this year, keeping it a bit drier than the others, so I will see how it goes.

Gaz
Nice one Fred, are you keeping it outside?
FredG
It's in the top lean to greenhouse Gaz, in a less sunny spot. I have others out in the garden in their pots, some have been out all winter
Gaz
interesting. I daren't risk mine yet so it's staying in the greenhouse.
FredG
I'd better clarify that post. When I say 'others' I mean other species. I'm not risking A. sikokianum outside, I want to control the watering. Edited May 2, 2014 by FredG
