Valcarnivores
You think not that it is Nepenthes Sibuyanensis?
elvis
NICE! is it from "wild collected seed"?? Ifso it could be a natural hybrid with Argentii !
Valcarnivores
Good question, I have to buy Nepenthes four years ago at Czplants at time(weather) when Sibuyanensis. I is another 2 others a little smaller, we go to see(visit) if he(it) is alike..
19Silverman93
You think not that it is Nepenthes Sibuyanensis?I'm not a big enough expert to say anything for definite but it does look more like argentii than sibu to me. especially with the colouration and shape of the pitcher. I was always given to believe sibu has a fairly rounded profile whereas that tapers like argentii
Valcarnivores
Possible, but as it arises of in vitro, can be are wild seeds?
19Silverman93
Possible, but as it arises of in vitro, can be are wild seeds?I suppose it depends if it was raised in vitro from seed which is possible. the only way to find out would be to ask czplants about that batch of plants. if they are from wild seed then a hybrid with sibu is possible- the two do both show up in that location in the wild. Valcarnivores
I understand better now..Thanks !
Dicon
I think this looks like typical sibuyanensis. argentii is hairy, and the cross (that has not been recorded in the wild) does not look like this either.
Valcarnivores
Good evening, Dicon. Yes, I agree except that he(it) looks like it a little, my Sibuyanensis is black, while the others not?
