wozzen
So I always say how good others photos are etc it's my turn to share. All my cephs are in different mixes, peat&spag moss, coir, peat and perlite, pure coir etc - why I'm just seeing how they react. So over the past year and some I have been snapping at my cephalotus plants owned an tendered by my fair hands. Some are bad quality, some better some taken at night an a dead pitcher along the way. None are recent so all at different stages throughout the year. So I think I will start with the above. I will update this thread time to time, but most of the pictures will be available to view by the weekend Matthew Edited February 4, 2014 by wozzen

wozzen
Jaquise - keep it going!! Your a great grower yourself. Mr green - I found time an patience to be best. To speak with the great contributors of the forum most are ceph growers I also went outside the box an spoke to growers in the uk went to people's open days an went on some visits, I also spoke with American growers really friendly people who help if you ask them questions. I don't want to name names but I found the forum an part of the carnivorus plant society uk to be a great help
CephFan
Hi, Some lovely plants there! What have you found from your experimentation with different growing media? Is there a mix that seems to work best or do the Cephs seem to cope with various mixes and just get on with it? Cheers, Steve
wozzen
Thanks steve At a the moment, I like spag moss an coir seems to be using good nutrients in plants as I havnt fed them a lot if at all. The water retention seems to be fair not gluey at all Over time I would like to see what happens though Matthew
