Difference between U.Livida and U.Livida Durban form

Hi,

I don't manage to find the difference between Utricularia Livida and Utricularia Livida Durban form. Could you help me ?

U. livida can be found in several locations, including Mexico, Madagascar and Durban. It is also quite variable so the Durban form is a location form native to Durban, representing the form from there.

Ok, so there isn't really physical difference betwenn them if isn't the locations ?

I asked it because I've a classic Utricularia Livida and an Utricularia Livida {Durban}, both had flowered but there isn't difference.

Sometimes they do vary though. U. livida is highly variable, a look at the cp photo finder entry will show you that.

They do vary, so I think that the fact that you don't see any difference means that your "regular" livida is "out of Africa"

I have a pot of livida that throws both white and a pinkish purple flower, they are both 100% livida
