Sarracenia alata in Mississippi

Recommended Posts

Hi,

here are some pictures i took from the large population of S. alata in Stone County/Mississippi. It's certainly one of the best Sarracenia site we have been during our trip. It was great to see so many healthy plants!

Please note, that i have not bothered myself too long with the new Varieties and so i might be wrong with some of them. If someone knows better, please let me know ;)

Lovely shots, especially the tree frog ... Hyla cinerea, I guess? Also lovely to see the recent spate of pictures showing fields full of Sarracenia, even if such locations aren't as common as in the past.
