Dicon
Hi All, I bought this at Stephens open day back in the summer, I wanted something that might like to live in an old Nep pitcher. I dropped it complete with its sphag/perlite media into an old (dead) N.rajah pitcher and topped up with rainwater. It seems quite happy and sent out a few air-borne runners (for want of a better description) a couple of which buried themselves down in the sphagnum, but a couple actually successfully found another nearby dead pitcher. One of these runners,I have just discovered, has developed traps. Q. Are these tendril like runners actually capable of actively seeking pools of water or is this just luck? gardenofeden
Looking good! I think it's just random where the tendrils end up, I have plants growing on the edge of water trays which throw just as many stolons out of the tray as they do into it.
