meizwang
Thanks everyone, glad you are all enjoying it! Nice to have some bright white leucophyllas to look at during the winter holiday season! some more photos: A neat red clone: One of the best red ones I've seen: This is one of my favorite clones, even though there are many other clones that are much whiter than this: Hard to digest all of these photos: Especially ones like this: Sabatia: Believe it or not, there's more to come!

linuxman
Great photos Mike, keep them coming. I hope this site is safe for the foreseeable future?
meizwang
Thanks Oliv and Linuxman! I think these plants should be okay for the forseeable future. However, a big threat to these Sarracenia sites are drought. I've seen other sites recently that were robust 2 decades ago, and today, there seems to be 1/4 to 1/2 the amount of plants left. These sites can change drastically in a short period of time, for better or for worse. Fortunately, this site seems to be very healthy. This first clone (first 4 photos below) rivals the original clones of hurricane creek white: out of focus, but I couldn't erase it! flat top, reminds me of that one dude from the walking dead: Another solid white var. alba-this is what dreams are made of: Var. alba after var. alba. Keep in mind, your perspective is being skewed a bit by these photos because the majority of the plants here are not super bright white plants like this: And here's a neighbor, notice the plant in the background is the same clone in the previous photo: Oval mouth: A nice pink clone: After reviewing this photo, I realized there's an even better plant in the background...look at how the tube is solid pinkish red...hindsight is 20/20: Another case of the background plants being more impressive, haha! Nice little group of var. albas: An impressive group: Impressive amount of white. Plants like these make me think var. albas aren't the best thing since sliced bread: Pink lips-can you believe this thing? Just try to imagine a color combination (within reason) and it's probably here: Tired of var. albas? Me neither: This spot had some nice pink plants sprinkled in: almost neon:
meizwang
Another impressive pink plant. This is a freshly opened pitcher, imagine how dark it can likely get as the trap ages(ie. check out the old trap to the right, background!): Green and white: Check out the lower portion of the petiole-it's fuzzy! This is the only fuzzy plant that we observed, but there were likely more of them out there: mixed: GOSH! Okay, that's all for today! meizwang
A very impressive clone, this plant seems to be wilting slightly due to a lack of water: Back view: Last but not least, a shot of the main field-this is close to incomprehensible:
ada
it's a wonder there are any insects around there at all. ada
