SoLongFairWell
If you found it in the garden centre how do you know that it is a true Iris?

picol
Beautiful plant, but as Richard Bunn ask, how can you be sure that is the real 'iris' if you find it in a "normal" garden centre?
gardenofeden
I think Vernon found the plant and named it Iris...
SoLongFairWell
Do you mean that this plant is the very same plant as this one (http://www.cpphotofinder.com/dionaea-iris-6732.html)?
petesredtraps
Do you mean that this plant is the very same plant as this one (http://www.cpphotofi...-iris-6732.html)? Well spotted Richard, there's a simple solution regarding the plants' name. Where the plant was found ,name that first, i.e "Homebase Iris". I'm surprised somebody hasn't been screaming "Virus" as they usually do when seeing a plant like this. Vernons' plant however, is over three years old now, and I think it looks great.........put me down for a division .
vernon
Sorry for the late answer, I was on holidays : It is good 'Iris' of the cpphotofinder, I found it and so named. I observed it for three years to be sure of the aspect. The photo is the one of a division. Thank you for your enthusiasm. I shall soon propose it to you.
