petesredtraps
Great! How do you cultivate your Ceph´s? I'd like to know that also. especially as Ketama has just sold me a young Hummers' giant, it'd be wonderful if it could look like that one day.

FOr what culture I just use peat and perlite .. the arrosag and performed by drizzle and not a tank filled with water ... then in terms of light I have a greenhouse shading by trees ... and I really temperature maximum 35 degrees and winter I was down below 10 degrees, I fell even 0 two or three nights ...

SoLongFairWell
Regarding fertilisers, Peter D'Amato says 'Occasional misting of foliage can be beneficial. Use Miracid, Orchid or Epiphytic fertiliser'. That's all it says. Miracid is Miracle Grow for Acid Loving plants. Marcus B
Miracid is Miracle Grow for Acid Loving plants. It seems to work well for my plants. I did not ferilize them last growing season and they have not done as well as previously. Unfortunately it seems that they have decided not to produce the acid form locally, in spite of the fact it is better for our native plants.
