chj93
Good luck with your new plan for the gh and future CP purchase from HCC or wherever. I'd keep the original flava for a while yet so that you can compare it with those "proper" CPs you'll be buying from now on. If all else fails you can always resort to growing trees as you quite obviously have some talent in that department . Keep us posted on how things progress. I shall keep the original Flava, purely for a comparison plant as you say. And if all else on the CP front does indeed fail then maybe I will try my hand at tree cultivation instead. I do have several Oak saplings grown from acorns which are doing very well, so I think I must have some talent there.

I am forever pulling birch seedlings out of my outside bogs.
SoLongFairWell
I'm forever pulling out seedlings of the Irish wild Willow. Damn things get everywhere.
Alexander Nijman
If you really want to grow good southern Sarracenias outside you need to move to Southern Europe I guess. If you get the climate for good flowering oleanders then southern Sarracenias will be fine. For N.W. Europe only Sarracenia pupurea purpurea, S. purpurea venosa, S. purpurea montana and the most northerly forms of S. flava will grow well. And the more sun they get the better!
