I just been looking on the hosting page and all the files have gone, it looks pretty serious. It looks as though my domain has been closed by freehosting cloud, dont know why. I also dont understand how there can be malicious code there if the domain has been closed? Im not an expert om this stuff, i can write a bit in html and edit stuff but thats about it. I dont think I'll be able to recover the site now. I dont have as recent backup of the site and dont have time to write a new one from scratch. mantrid Posted March 29, 2013 Report Share Posted March 29, 2013 With fire fox the info page says "In some cases, third parties can add malicious code to legitimate sites, which would cause us to show the warning message." I dont think this is the case as with internet explorer (IE) there is no warning of malware so its clearly an issue with firefox browser code Poor error trapping etc in the code can throw up the wrong message it happens often. When the code is written often you cant account for every senario and a default or incorrect message/page can be displayed. With IE the standard message is shown when a site is not available on the server "The requested URL /growing.html was not found on this server." This would make sense as your free service has been cancelled and your site is no longer live on the server so cannot be found by browsers. IE recognises this but this incorrect page is somehow being triggered in firefox. Its not you problem so dont worry about it. Contact your hosting company as they may have a backup of your site.
