Marc S.
Hi, congratulations to this jewel! So this is the same source Jeremiah has his seedgrown eddy from? May I ask what price you payed for this plant? It's really great to hear that there is a breeding pair from Mt. Tambuyukon in cultivation. This is one of the most beautiful Nepenthes I know and after visiting both natural habitats I'm even more stunned about the size of the upper pitchers! with over 50cm in length!! If you would like to see some more pictures of from Marai Parai... http://forum.carnivoren.org/index.php?/topic/34352-borneo-trip-juni-2012-marai-parai-–-teil-1/ http://forum.carnivoren.org/index.php?/topic/34353-borneo-trip-juni-2012-marai-parai-–-teil-2/#entry159933 ... and Mt. Tambuyukon - here you go! http://forum.carnivoren.org/index.php?/topic/34337-borneo-trip-juni-2012-mt-tambuyukon-teil-1-der-steile-weg-zum-gipfel/ http://forum.carnivoren.org/index.php?/topic/34340-borneo-trip-juni-2012-mt-tambuyukon-teil-2-der-gipfel-und-ein-kleines-tal-dahinter/ http://forum.carnivoren.org/index.php?/topic/34343-borneo-trip-juni-2012-mt-tambuyukon-teil-3-abstieg/ (All in german but the pictures should speak for themselves!) Happy eddy growing and kind regards Marc Edited February 24, 2013 by Marc S.

Rodrigo
Magnificent plant , this pitcher has a very vivid coloration typical of a Nepenthes well cared . Congratulations, because you deserve the time dedicated to the hobby . Best regards, Rodrigo
Tuuagso
Congratulations! your plant is really beautiful! How old is it? It has great looking pitchers, but I'm pretty sure the next ones will be just better and better, I would love to see it in a few years, it will be spectacular. My best wishes. Heli
Thanks, the seed was germinated in 2005
Blocky71
Hi Heli, very nice plant. Are you saying that plant pictured is around 8 years old?, or that it's a division from a plant that was germinated in 2005?
Heli
Yup the plant pictured here was germinated in 2005.

Dave Evans
Yeah, they aren't too picky, but they are slow.
Heli
Dave, what temperatures do you give yours?
Dave Evans
It gets ambient temps. In the summer it gets temps up to 95 F. Didn't like last summer too much I treat it the same as for N. ventricosa. But it probably would like it a bit cooler and more humid; so I've taken to running a cool mist humidifier anytime the ambient humidity drops. Heli
Wow... So you just give it normal temps? I'm giving mine nights with a range of 55-60 and day temps of 73-77. With high humidity, how big is your plant now?
