Simon Lumb
Superb photos Jeremiah and what a trip. Interesting some of the macrophylla have lid secretions, a characteristic one would expect to see in a N. xTrus. However they still look like macrophylla although the peristomes do have the odd protrusion. Possibly (macro x lowii) x macro what does everybody else think? They remind me of one of Wistubas macrophylla clones that seems by common consent to be classed as N.xTrus, although its not a primary x Trus hybrid for sure. Obviously there are lot of complex crosses on Trusmadi. Edited December 5, 2012 by Simon Lumb
Marc S.
Hi Jeremiah, great photos from an awesome trip! It reminds me on my trip to Mt. Tambuyukon and Marai Parai - but then Mt. Trusmadi was unfortunately still closed... :'( Do you have more pictures of Drosera ultramafica plants and flowers? Would be nice for me to compare them again to those we found on Mt. Tambuyukon and Marai Parai! Cheers Marc

Stairs
Have just taken a look through your pictures, Jeremiah - a wonderful selection - thanks for sharing. Also, don't mention it - it was a pleasure to lead the group, and I enjoyed my time with you guys immensely. Christer, the orchid is a Stigmatodactylus - a first record of the genus in the Philippines. Marc, Trus Madi was never closed - the main trail has been shut down, but one can climb from at least two other routes. If you ever face this situation again, please get in touch. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2013 to all, Alastair.

Marc S.
Hi Alstair, I wrote it wrong. The mountain itself wasn't closed but the the main road was "inexistent" due to a land slide. ;-) So did you see D. ultramafica on Mt. Tambuyukon? Kind regards Marc
