mobile
You'll possibly get mixed replies. I prefer to repot in the spring, before new growth really kicks off. Other prefer to do it at the end of the growing season, so the plant has longer time to recover before the new growing season. To a certain extent, it depends on your growing conditions, as repotting at the end of season could lead to extra stress on the plant as it's coming into less than ideal growing conditions through the winter. Gaz
Early Spring for me for the reasons explained by mobile, I also feel that as Spring starts the plant should be primed for growth and might be less stressed then than if repotting at the end of the season . Dode
I had a forced repot last week due to dropping the plant, not the best way to experiment. Time will tell if they plant survives. Edited November 28, 2012 by Dode

gardenofeden
I'm an autumn person. A few bad experiences of hot weather in spring immediately after repotting makes autumn a safer bet for me.
Marcus B
I prefer late winter to early spring, just about the time the new growth is kicking in.
JohnP
I prefer to divide or repot anytime from late autumn to early spring. There's a greater risk of leaf and pitcher loss in the hotter months.
Peter Hewitt
Being in the Business we have to work with the plants at any time the importunity present itself, and we seldom experience problems at any time of the year. I do try to avoid re potting during the hottest days of summer, but even then, the plants recover fairly quickly if the correct medium is used and conditions are good.
