Maiden Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 Yes very close, like a inch or 2. I use Sunblaster fluo tubes, almost no heat from them. I have a thermometer at spoon level, and another one at soil level, and they are almost at the same temp. I grow my vfts akaï ryu under tube like that, and the plants are almost black. But im from canada, and i think we are 3 carnivorous plants lovers in the whole country, so its very hard finding someone willing to trade.
