Gaz
Thanks for sharing these pictures with us Cedric. I have never seen such fantastic Sarracenia before, in fact I didn't have much interest in them (until now). hmm....now I need to have a rethink and find a bit of space for some somewhere. Thanks again Regards Gaz

meizwang
Cedric- Did many of your S. leucophyllas do very little during the spring/summer, and then all the sudden, during the fall, they had gigantic pitchers, or did you have great summer pitcher production as well? Outdoors here in California, S. leucophylla from Southern Baldwin Co, AL (Bob Hanrahan's property) tends to produce small, "uneventful" pitchers in the spring and summer, and then in mid to late July, the plant goes into phyllodia production mode. During late August thru the end of September (our fall), a huge flush of giant, bright white pitchers are produced. S. leucophylla hurricane creek white and S. leucophylla 'red rocket' from North Walton Co, AL sometimes produces large summer pitchers for me (if it's consistently warm), but for the most part, they're nothing like the fall pitchers. Have you (or anyone else) come across variants of S. leucophylla that consistently produce an abundance of large summer pitchers that are equal to their fall pitcher production? cedric
Thanks all... meizwang, At home it is now the best of moorei, alata, rubra and leucophylla, for leucophylla yes I have small and not good pitcher at the beginning of the season, July and August phyllodia and september fast pitcher... I think it's just a question of climate, because for me it is the same for my all leucophylla. Cedric
