I think it is a lowlander but mine is growing in highland conditions together with my heliamphora.

EDIT: Today its so hot that almost all of my sundews are dewless so hopefully the weather cools down tomorrow, and then I will make some more pictures.

Cheers Simon

Yes I also find it laughable because it is a simple hybrid between N. ventricosa and N. ampullaria and many people reading this are going to think "But they did a lot of experimenting and they may have spend a lot of money making a Nepenthes that is attractive to collectors and people that just buy them at the local gardening center because they are beautiful and they want to have a special plant that eats bugs"

And yes that is true but my plant is making a offshoot so I an technically violating the law.

Cheers Simon :D

Imagine if that was N. Ventrata. :sarcastic_hand:

Oooh, then I would be in serious trouble :whistling:

But if you make a cross between the two parent plants and it results in a plant very similar looking plant but it is genetically different so technically you can reproduce that hybrid you made but it results in the same plants.

( Sorry if it doesn't make sense but my primary language ins't English )

Propagation is just an important part of the hobby as growing.

Yes it is and it is just because it's a nice, new and easy plant to grow everybody wants it and there are only two producer: Borneo exotics and what has now become Araflora ,so all the money is going into their pockets.
