Raci22
Hello Last year I bought seed grown Nepenthes Hamata from AW. Finally it produced first bigger pitcher. I read somewhere that some of those seedlings were probably cross between Hamata and something else. Is any body growing this hamata and what do you thing is it real one? loligo1964
It still resembles a juvenile N . hamata pitcher to me, since the peristome often doesn't become too pronounced for a couple of years and very in color to a degree. I wouldn't give too much credit to the rumor mill . . . Edited July 2, 2012 by loligo1964

durham
I believe it could be N. hamata x nigra, both the plants shown in these links were the katopasa seedlings sold by Wistuba. http://pitcherplants.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=nepwild&action=display&thread=3810&page=2 http://pitcherplants.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=10701
Raci22
I hope it is not a hybrid. I paid a lot of money for it. Does anybody else have this plant? Thanks R
