billynomates666
Hi Marko i have been doing something similar for some time now, and that is to put pine bark into an old onion bag and hang that in my barrel, tea bag style, to acidify and add tanin to the water particularly for bogs that are older with 'tired' substarte. I also top dress the bog in winter with pine bark, pine needles and twigs, for the same reason and provide some preoection. I have no proof that it is benificial but suffice to say it has had no deleterious effects yet and the plants are OK. Cheers Steve
