markde2e
Hello, I posted the following photos earlier on the dutch carnivora forum. At about the end of august 2011, i recieved a healthy darlingtonia clone forum Pieter (Lucifer from this forum). A photo that Pieter made, just before he send the plant: 1-10-2011 : 15-1-2012 First repot: 23-3-2012 Flower bud emerging, but plant needs a new repot again, beqause the pot is bulging out and the roots are sticking out the bottom.. 6-4-2012 17/18-4-2012 Demon looking flower:
markde2e
10-5-2012 26-5-2012 2-6-2012 The plant is growing in pure peat, and seems to thrive in it!

Mark Anderson
hi, lovely pics. what substrate do you use?
Alexis
Looking good. Bear in mind that you'll never eliminate new sprouts emerging from stolons, so any darlingtonia will look crammed in its pot if it's doing well. Just a point if you're worried about it outgrowing it's pot!
Starchy
I you are worried about the stolons causing the pot to bulge, you may want to consider more of a tray-style pot. If the cosmetics of the pot do not matter, many use clean litter boxes, or similar containers. Darlingtonia roots don't usually grow too low, they just love to branch outward. markde2e
Thank's! I use pure peat! And a recently repotted the plant in a sqaure pot. I cut of the two stollon plants and repotted them outside.. @ Starchy: Some of the roots are about 18cm long!
