SoLongFairWell
It's amazing what a greenhouse can do. The cool spring really screwed with plants outdoors. There isn't a single open pitcher yet. A flava flower opened 2 days ago (ooo exciting, not). At least my greenhouse is (hopefully) being put up this week.
James O'Neill
Very nice sarras there, the greenhouse really works wonders. One thing though; your 'evendine' looks quite different to mine...

Is yours alot darker? I like it when it's this colour but it goes redder with age. If not, where did you get yours from?
linuxman
I like the helmut's delight, nice strong veining. I only got it this year and it was the first leuco to open and now it's going this lovely chocolate brown.

Mine opens up quite green, then turns pure dark red. At the moment, they have just opened so only the lid is going red so far. The lid of my evendine is more angularly ruffled and the plant is very upright and tall. Looking on photofinder, there are quite a few different plants that claim to be evendine. I got mine from Dunk, who said that he got it from Marston itself, and so believes it to be the real evendine. Here's mine at the moment. Still needs to darken up oviously. Mine's from P&J plants who claim it is a Slack original. Anyone else got an original 'Evedine'?

I never thought I'd take to maxima being just green, but there something about them that's compelling. Not quite up to your quality yet, but trying! It's a pity there is confusion at all. Yours doesn't look like it has much influence from leucophylla - maybe a simple catesbaei?

I guess the authoritative source is AS's original 'Carnivorous Plants' book page 176. That doesn't look like mine!
