Plan for combined open weekend

Hi All

The time of year has come when I start nagging everyone to host an open day in the following year. Ian, myself, Mike King and Paul and Jackie Gardner have been discussing the possibility of a open days weekend, viewing 3 collections over 1 weekend. For those of you who attend the South West weekend last year..... this would be pretty much the same.

The plan is to attend Mike's open day during the saturday day as usual and from there proceed to Paul and Jackie Gardner (about 1 hours drive) for a late afternoon, early evening view of thier collection. From there we then drive down to our area (Neath, South Wales) for a nice chill out with a meal at a nice local pub. Early sunday morning our collection will be opened up for viewing and anyone who stayed the night (at local B&B/'s), we will be providing a nice welsh breakfast for all the early birds and a nice little bbq in the afternoon for all those who are still visiting us.

So everyone...................What do you all think of this idea? Would you like to attend full/part of the weekend? This is open to anyone and everyone. Car sharing will be available as an option, so this doesn't have to be an expensive weekend. Anyone who would like to offer car sharing, we would like to hear from you too. There is a B&B very close to our house and there are a few more roughly 15 minutes away. Anyone who would like to pitch up a tent in our garden is more than welcome to.

Please let me know your thoughts!

Regards Dianne
