Drosera-like plant

Recommended Posts

I found this or a similar plant several (10) years ago in the forests of La Marquesa near Mexico City. I mistook it for a CP at first but my teenage brain concluded rightly or wrongly that the tentacles were a means of seed dispersal or protection. If I remember correctly, the tentacles were sticky even when the plant was dead, like Roridula. However, looking at it again does make me wonder why even the stalk is covered in these glands/ trichomes.

I hope someone be able to identificate it, it's really interesting, meanwhile I'll show you another pictures, not that good, but you can see a little more of the plant. The plant was found in a forest of Estado de México, Mexico, I don't know exactly where.
