Drosera rupicola

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

here are some pictures i took at a great site of Drosera rupicola. The plants are growing there in large colonies and have been in flower the day we have been there. Saddly it was not the best weather, but you can't have it all ;) I hope, it's ok to post so many pictures in one thread, but i couldn't decide for less ;)

Hello,

yes, Western Australia can be quite chilly at this time of year! That day has been quite ok, we have had colder days (and especially nights) during the three weeks. As you can see on the pictures, the weather is not always sunny, in fact, we had some quite bad rain as well as some more or less cloudy days. If you expect warmth and good weather you might get disappointed, at least sometimes. The good thing is, it can be really nice and warm too ;)
