Heliamphora spec. Bonnetia Forest

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I bought a Heliamphora spec. Bonnetia Forest from Gert at EEE2011 today. Gert said it was a yet to be named species and I can't find much information on it. Anyone got any details?

Vince is right, as far as I know it's H. huberi.

(Although Gert mentions it's H. aff. huberi HERE)

The fact that Gert has listed it as affinis (aff.) would suggest that he believes it is similar to H. huberi, but it is not H. huberi.

Hi,

I do not know why this is still spread as H. spec. Bonnetia Forest, but the plant I introduced a few years back under this name has been named H. huberi loooong ago.

All the best

Andreas

hmmm... I wonder why Gert has it listed as Heliamphora spec. Bonnetia forest (aff. huberi) on his grow list and is labelling it as Heliamphora spec. Bonnetia Forest. Affinis (aff.) would suggest that it has similarities but is not the same as the named species.

Hi everybody,

As bonnetia occurs nearly everywhere there to my knowledge, where is it from exactly ? Angasima-tepui, Apacará-tepui, Amurí-tepui, Acopán-tepui,  Torono- and Chimantá-tepui ? Thanks in advance !
