Carnivorous-Owen Posted June 12, 2011 Report Share Posted June 12, 2011 Hello, I currently have a Pitcher Plant, Sundew, Venus Fly Trap and Monkey Cups. I am planning to purchase some more but i see that some should be kept in terrariums etc.? I live in Mid-Wales Powys, UK so i don't know what the daily temperature they should be at? How would i buy or make a terrarium I'm 17 so appreciate i don't have much building skills lol. Would like an old fish tank do or....? jimscott Posted June 13, 2011 Report Share Posted June 13, 2011 Which sundew do you have? VFT's are outdoor plants. They may look good in a terrarium for awhile but will decline thereafter. They are sun lovers and require a 4 season experience. Monkey Cups, I think is a Nepenthes. I contrast to VFT's and temperate conditions, they need equatorial conditions, which a terrarium can accommodate fairly well. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
