David Ahrens
The first thing that I noticed is where are all the leaves ? It's not that young a plant but it just doesn't have the mass of leaves that I am used to. Are you burning them off or killing them in some way ? Too high an intensity of light perhaps. The red leaves show that the light is not under strong.

Compared to the situation before the coffee treatment, there are actually a lot of leaves and pitchers. My ampullarias seem rather happy to me, but I have a problem with the bicalcaratas. The first leaves to emerge are healthy, but soon they start turning yellow-to-black. The pitchers themselves are fine, only the leaves are effected. I wonder why? Too much light, too small pots, too much or too little feeding?
