Nice specimen Sarracenia, 2010

Here are some shots from may through June of 2010 from my collection.

a nice population of S. minor var. okefenokeensis from Ware Co, GA. There's a lot of genetic diversity from this population. Many differ in shape and color, but they all can get gigantic. Plants grow the biggest during Indian summers (extended summer weather)

S. purpurea ssp. purpurea f-1 from the District of Muskoka, ON. An impressive plant-the mother plants had the biggest pitchers I've ever seen on purpureas.

S. leuco 'red' x minor 'giant-imagine a super-sized S. x excellens that has better coloration-that's what this clone is:
