Carlos Rohrbacher
Hi Tim, I loved you (very red) cephalotus, it's a 'typical form'? What substrate do you use? Regards.

Tim Beier
Thanks all for your reply. Nice that you like the pictures. @ Daniel O.: The D. erythrorhiza ssp. squamosa is one of my favorite tuberous sundews. @Carlos R. : Yes it is a typical form of Cephalotus follicularis. The substrate is a mix of peat, perlit and sand (so nothing special) My Cephalotus follicularis are standing in the greenhouse and get a lot of light. Iggy
Hi Tim, Lovely plants and pictures!! What's your min. temperature during night for SAF species ? Cheers, Iggy
Tim Beier
Hi Iggy, Now in winter the min. tempertature for all my plants in the greenhouse, is around 5-6°C at night. The temperature could be a little higher, but that's also a cost issue. Oh by the way: The seeds of the tuberous sundew I received from you are nearly all germinated ( great quality!) I hope the other seeds will germinate just as well in spring. Regards, Tim Beier
Kiwi Earl
Thanks for posting Tim. Beautiful plants and well photographed. Do you know that D.capensis is a noxious weed here in NZ? Illegal to propagate and distribute as it has been deemed highly invasive in our environment out competing native Drosera species.
Hornet
Your Drosera macrantha is amazing, very well grown plant :). What mix do you use?
Tim Beier
Hi, @Earl:Thats interesting, I didn't know that. @Hornet: Thank you. For all touberous sundew I use a mix of peat, fine and gritty sand. Regard's Tim Beier
