Daniel O.
Hi Carlos, very nice and healthy looking plants and nice to see some of the differences between the different D. ascendens location forms, the flower colour from ´Aiuruoca´ seems to be really pale. D. tentaculata is a really interesting species and after seeing the differences between D. grantsaui and D. x fontinalis i´m wondering if i´m not also growing D. x fontinalis. I received the seed as D. grantsaui but it´s very similar to your D. x fontinalis. Perhaps i have to show some pictures these days. And nice to see my babies, under my conditions they are relatively fast growers. Best regards, Dani

Carlos Rohrbacher
Hi CPers, thanks for the kind comments. Daniel: I received this new plants a few days (D. tentaculata, D. grantsaui, D. X fontinalis ... ... october/november). I believe that D. grantsaui is a variable species. I have more two locations, they are more green. I will put in same conditions to better assess the differences. D. ascendens from Aiuruoca (Minas Gerais State) have the bigger flower stalks (for D. ascendens) in my little greenhouse, it's more genetic or environmental, I don't know. Thanks again for these 'babies'. Regards. Edited December 21, 2010 by Carlos Rohrbacher

kisscool_38
Ah, your seeds germinated? Not yet. It is full winter here, there is a LOT of snow this year in France, it is very cold and days are really short. I might have to way till spring to have any seedlings.
