Thanks CPers!

... What are your conditions for U. tricolor?

The U. tricolor lives in my H. chimatensis pot, is a invasive utric

Substrate: 100% sphagnum (live moss).

Water: rain water

Pot: baked clay

Humidity: near 100%

Temperature: in this season 15-»25ºC (night-day), in winter -1-»16ºC (night-day).

Light: direct sun 8h/day

Regards.

Carlos,

You are the man! Congratulations on getting all of those plants to bloom (especially everyone's nemesis - U. tricolor!). How large is the pot you use for the tricolor & how long has it been in the pot before flowering? Does the pot sit in water all the time?

Thanks for sharing those wonderful pics.

Hi People.

I'm a lucky man, the U. tricolor have new flowers, I will put new pictures in this topic.

Ron: I use a big pot (15 x 15 cm), all time in water. This U. tricolor came with sphagnum, probably took the pot plant from Campo Largo, Paraná State, Brasil.

I saw some U. tricolor and U. praelonga in habitat two weeks ago.

Utricularia tricolor. Imbituva, Paraná, Brasil.
