Daniel O.
Hi Carlos, indeed, the U. tricolor is really a beauty. Perhaps i should also use sphagnum for my plant as well because it never flowered, really strange. Best regards, Dani
moof
My U.tricolor grows like a weed too, but it never flowered for me! only produces lots of leaves despite the low temperatures in the terrarium. UtricSeb
Very nice collection and your U.tricolor is an amazing rarity. I have never been able to get it blooming in cultivation even when it is not rare to see it blooming in nature.
RL7836
Carlos, You are the man! Congratulations on getting all of those plants to bloom (especially everyone's nemesis - U. tricolor!). How large is the pot you use for the tricolor & how long has it been in the pot before flowering? Does the pot sit in water all the time? Thanks for sharing those wonderful pics. Carlos Rohrbacher
Hi People. I'm a lucky man, the U. tricolor have new flowers, I will put new pictures in this topic. Ron: I use a big pot (15 x 15 cm), all time in water. This U. tricolor came with sphagnum, probably took the pot plant from Campo Largo, Paraná State, Brasil. I saw some U. tricolor and U. praelonga in habitat two weeks ago. Utricularia tricolor. Imbituva, Paraná, Brasil. Utricularia praelonga. Imbituva, Paraná, Brasil. Regards.
