sativ Posted November 7, 2010 Report Share Posted November 7, 2010 I'm afraid that changing soil will harm plants too much- acetic acid is very well soluble in water, try to flush pots and leaves first with a very big amount of water. I certainly would not try to neutralise the acetic acid, that's more likely to do more harm than good. Acetic acid is an organic acid, so it should degrade fairly fast in the medium, by microbial activity. However any damage you see was probably caused in the first few hours before symptoms became apparent. Once the plants are looking burnt the damage has probably been done.
