droseradude
Hello, I decided that my aquatic cps (aldrovanda, u. macrorhiza, u. inflata) weren't recieving enough light so I moved them outside. Unfortunately they overheated and the water was HOT not just warm but hot. The plants looked a little more brownish than usual. Anyway I put them in a bigger container, about 3 or 4 gallons, and shaded them a little. Will they recover? not surprised if they won't but still hoping... thanks Matt
Guest Tamlin Dawnstar
Hmmm, sounds not too good. I find that when Aldrovanda loses its footing, it soon goes to meet Darwin :-( U, macrorhiza on the other hand might pull through. In habitat I have found them in warmer water. Note that indoor grown aquatic species are notoriously sensitive to sunburn when placed outdoors suddenly.
