Yes it is, I'd cut it off and stick it into the soil, a plantlet will grow from it. I'd advise to give the plant a dormancy phase next year, it's what it gets in it's natural habitat too. If you're keeping your plant inside now, I think you may want to keep the substrate a little bit more moist.

Just to update you all, my plant appears to be doing well and is outside looking healthy :) I purchased some supershag from the little shop of horrors and will look to replant my trap into this soon. If anyone else has used this product is it worth me mixing it with a little of the old/current soil?
